Business problem
Frontline operators generated customisable end-of-shift reports to brief incoming crews. In complex plants these reports grew too long, turning shift meetings into report-reading sessions that ran for hours. Teams talked about what had happened instead of what needed attention.
Solution
A Power Automate workflow detects each new shift report. I built a Gen AI agent in Microsoft Copilot Studio that parses the report through built-in connectors and passes it to the agent. A Prompt tool, carrying my instructions, summarises the report into an actionable checklist, which integrated email connectors forward to users.
Outcome
I vibe-coded, with a lot of research, a clean working agent with three components: an agent flow, a prompt tool and an email connector. Its actionable summary cut shift-handover summary time by 60%.
