Business problem
The cost of the existing risk-visualisation solution was becoming prohibitive, and its licence was due to expire in 2028, which prompted the search for an alternative.
Solution
I researched how assets approached risk visualisation: some had a custom solution, while others relied on the licensed tool. Through a market scan, I identified the best risk tools available and benchmarked Shell's solutions against them. One recommendation was a DIY solution that assets could customise to their needs.
Outcome
With a product team, I designed and deployed a fit-for-purpose DIY solution and piloted it at one asset. I then demoed it to other interested assets and worked with them to scale the solution globally.
